I was born in Louisiana and grew up in Georgia. I went to college in North Carolina, met my Texan husband, and we began our marriage in Tennessee. I’m a huge fan of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood. In fact I used to watch this show everyday when I was pregnant with Jake. Back then we did not have cable and the only channel we can watch was the WQTV and the pittsburgh channel. I have seen almost all the episode of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood. And when I was at the children’s museum and saw this shoes of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, I instantly took a picture of it and was fascinated at how they able to keep it there. Well, Mister Roger’s Neighbood was a really a big thing.

There are so many things to see at the Children’s museum that kids would love and enjoy. I even enjoy taking pictures of this monitor. What can you say, it’s fun being kid right?

In a month it would be Mother’s Day. I love the feeling of being so special even for just a day. I am sure all moms would agree—especially when we see commercials made in honor of us, plus malls and department stores would be so filled with greetings to moms like us.

Although tiring, I am still happy and blessed to be a mom. It’s something that I would not exchange for anything else in the world. Managing my time between two kids, seemingly endless household chores, having to spend quality time with my hubby and do my online work is very challenging but at the end of the day, when I see the smiles of my little ones, I still want this kind of life.

Of course, a month after Mom’s Day would be Father’s Day. I am sure hubby also deserves to be appreciated and given a gift.
